It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

I cannot put my camera down.  I have three beautiful boys that my camera is drawn to.  I sometimes wonder what on Earth I will ever do with all of these photos, but then I sit down every once in awhile and scroll through some old ones like this one of Austin:

Or this one of Mason:

and I realize in no time flat I will be looking back at all these pictures of Paxton, wondering where the time went.  The boys are growing, even Paxton, right before my very eyes! So, to be able to look back on these and see all of the changes, I have come to the realization that you can never have to many pictures. So I continue to snap away!

Which leads me to my next topic: OUR GIVEAWAY

I promised I had a giveaway coming up and I am ready to share it! As mentioned, I have an obsession for picture taking and each time I am in Target (which is often) I walk by these picture frames and they really strike me.  I really just love what it says. It really resonates with me right about now and I am pretty sure it can resonate in some corner of every ones heart this time of year.

I wanted to buy one for myself, but refrained, for once.  Leave a comment telling me what you are most grateful for this holiday season and I will number them in order received and use random.org to pick the winner Thursday morning!

As for me, we all know what I am most grateful for. However, just in case you forgot I will recap.  I am grateful for my family, for Paxton's health and for the kindness we have been shown from so many amazing people.

************

Believe it or not, we actually pulled it together and got a Christmas tree this year! A really, really big one. We had so much fun decorating it and my wonderful husband even put lights up outside when it was nice and cool this past Saturday. My how our Saturday nights have changed!

Paxton and I stood by and cheered him on. Wow, stay at home Mommy look much...I really must try to clean myself up a bit! Good news, is my boys (the ones I gave birth to) don't care what I look like!

Look at our pretty house! Go Daddy!

Mason investigating the tree and hamming it up for the camera. You will notice that only the top half of our tree has any  ornaments on it!  Do I need to mention that I have a three year old who is a hoarder that would surely steal them all and tuck them in his bed. Whatever happened to his blankie? Instead it's ornaments and kicks. More on that later! Then there's my two year old who has a penchant for either eating the things or sticking them up his nose. Not sure, why one over the other, but had we put anything on the bottom half of our tree, I am positive we would have found an ornament in one orifice or the other. SO, not worth it!

And here it is!

Now if I could just pull it together long enough to get some presents under it, we will be all set.  I don't know where the hours go, but let me tell you they GO! Right about now, I really do wish there was a Santa that would take care of everything for me! Well, it's off to bed folks...that is after I shower, make bottles and prepare lunches for tomorrow.  Ahh... the joys of Mommyhood!  Well, a shower is just a normal part of daily life not Mommyhood I suppose, but some days even that is hard to fit in! Mostly, I just wait until everyone is in bed so I don't have two toddlers banging on the shower door, opening and closing it only to slip in the water therefore, forcing me to jump out and make sure no one is truly hurt all while freezing my "heiny" off! Yes, a shower at 11:00 pm is much more preferable. Life with toddlers, just priceless!

Good night folks. Sweet Sweet Dreams!

Ahhh... love the Christmas tree! I totally understand about the ornaments too... mine can't seem to stay away from the tree! I have almost all of my gifts covered, but need to wrap everything. I just don't think I will be putting them under the tree, as that would be a perfect arms reach for them to grab and eat away at! Oh, and the shower is just too funny... I do the samething! I used to lock them in the bathroom with me, and by the time I got out(which literally was not even 5 minutes) they had everything from under the cabinets pulled out! Crazy kids! Gotta love em'

Hello, I found your blog from the Baby Be Blessed wesbite and I've been praying for baby Paxton and your family. Thanks for all the updates and great photos! What I am most grateful for this holiday season / year has to be the arrival of my sweet little girl. She will be 7 months old here soon and it's hard to believe how quickly the time has passed. We had a very very difficult pregnancy with her and were told on 1/9/09 during an ultrasound with a high risk dr. that she had a rare brain defect and we could terminate the pregnancy. At times, it seemed like we were the only ones that believed in miracles and the possibility that she could be healed. Sophie made her debut into this world a little early on 5/14/09 but after an MRI we were told she did not have the brain defect. We do have some other things we've been following with her but so far so good. I just thank God time and time again and truly know there is power in prayer.

Blessing to your family this holiday season!

Regards,
Samantha D.

Hi Jenn!

I am so very grateful for my husband and three sons and our health. : )

I stumbled across your blog a few months ago and have been a "shadow" reader ever since. I can't remember how I found you.

I know we are close, you have mentioned St. Pete..we live in Sarasota on Siesta Key.

You are an inspiration to me. You have handled your circumstances with such grace! Keep up the writing!

Much Love,

There are so many things to be thankful for...and this is all the time. However, this year imparticular, I have been truly blessed. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and best friend, one angel baby, and now two little girls that can't wait to get out into the world. His works are amazing and stand true...how could we not be thankful for all He does.

Your blogs are truly inspiring. You helped me reach a point with my miscarriage that I hadn't reached, even though I was already pregnant again. It's crazy how we push feelings aside. Thank you for your words.

God bless you, your family, and little Paxton.
